Our Responsible Gaming Tools
Six protections built directly into your jtween account
What Is Responsible Gaming?
Responsible gaming means engaging with casino games and sports betting purely as a form of entertainment, with clear personal boundaries around time and money. At jtween, we want every player across Bangladesh — whether you are in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, or anywhere else in the country — to enjoy our platform without letting gambling spill over into other areas of life.
Gambling becomes a problem when a person can no longer control how much time or money they spend, when they chase losses in an attempt to win back money already spent, or when betting begins to affect family relationships, work performance, or financial stability. These warning signs do not always appear suddenly — they tend to develop gradually, which is exactly why jtween has built a range of proactive tools into the platform rather than waiting for players to reach a crisis point.
The golden rule at jtween is straightforward: only gamble with money you can afford to lose. Treat every deposit as the cost of entertainment, the same way you would a cinema ticket or a meal out. Never borrow money to fund gambling, and never use funds earmarked for rent, groceries, bills, or family expenses.
21+ Age Restriction Policy
jtween operates a zero-tolerance policy on underage gambling. All new registrations are subject to age verification checks, and additional document-based verification may be requested at any point during the account lifecycle. Acceptable documents for age and identity verification include a national identity card (NID), passport, or birth certificate issued by a recognised Bangladeshi authority.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor may have accessed jtween using your account details, please contact our support team at [email protected] immediately. We will investigate and take appropriate action without delay, including closing the account and reviewing any associated transactions.
We also encourage adults who share devices with younger family members to use password protection on their jtween accounts and to log out completely after every session. Never allow children or teenagers to watch or participate in your gambling sessions, even informally.
Setting Deposit Limits
One of the most effective ways to keep gambling under control is to decide in advance exactly how much you are willing to deposit over a given period. jtween allows members to set a personal deposit limit on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, denominated in Bangladeshi Taka (৳).
Once a deposit limit is in place, the platform will automatically prevent any deposit that would cause your total to exceed the cap you have set. Reducing a limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit, by contrast, is subject to a mandatory seven-day cooling-off period — this is intentional, designed to prevent impulsive decisions made during a losing session from undoing the protection you set for yourself when thinking clearly.
To set or adjust your deposit limit, contact our support team at [email protected] with your account username and the limit amount you wish to apply. Our team will confirm the change by return email within one business day.
Time-Out & Self-Exclusion
Sometimes a break is the best move you can make. jtween offers two levels of account pause: a time-out for short-term breaks and a self-exclusion for longer or permanent restrictions.
Recognising Problem Gambling
Honest self-awareness is the first step toward staying in control
Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of background, income, or experience. The following warning signs may indicate that gambling has moved beyond healthy entertainment and is becoming a concern:
- Spending more money or time gambling than you originally planned, on a regular basis.
- Chasing losses — placing more bets in an attempt to recover money already lost.
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when not gambling or when trying to cut back.
- Neglecting work, family, studies, or personal responsibilities because of gambling activity.
- Borrowing money, selling belongings, or using household funds to finance gambling.
- Hiding gambling activity from friends or family members out of shame or guilt.
- Using gambling as a way to escape stress, depression, or personal problems.
- Making repeated unsuccessful attempts to reduce or stop gambling on your own.
If two or more of these points feel personally relevant to you, we strongly encourage you to take a break and reach out to our support team. Recognising the problem early gives you the best possible chance of addressing it before it causes lasting harm.

Tips for Staying in Control
Responsible gambling is not just about using the tools available — it is also about the mindset you bring to each session. Here are practical habits that experienced, disciplined players follow:
- Set a budget before you log in. Decide in advance the maximum amount you are willing to lose in a session, and stop when you reach it — whether you are winning or losing.
- Treat winnings as a bonus, not income. Never count on gambling winnings to pay bills or cover regular expenses. Wins are unpredictable by nature.
- Take regular breaks. Step away from the screen every 30 to 60 minutes. Use jtween's play time alert feature to remind yourself when it is time to pause.
- Avoid gambling when emotional. Stress, frustration, grief, or even extreme happiness can cloud judgement. Gambling decisions made in an emotional state are rarely sound ones.
- Balance gambling with other activities. Ensure that cricket betting, casino games, and slots remain one small part of a varied leisure life — not the dominant activity.
- Never gamble under the influence. Alcohol and certain medications impair decision-making. Avoid gambling when your judgement is compromised.
- Keep a record. Track your deposits and withdrawals honestly. Seeing the actual numbers in writing is often more sobering than vague memory.
Protecting Vulnerable Players
jtween takes seriously its responsibility toward players who may be at greater risk of harm. This includes individuals experiencing financial hardship, those with a history of problem gambling, and anyone who appears to be gambling in a distressed or erratic manner.
Our support staff are trained to handle responsible gaming conversations with sensitivity and without judgment. If a team member contacts you with concerns about your account activity, please engage with that conversation openly. Our goal is always your wellbeing, not to restrict your enjoyment without cause.
We also apply enhanced monitoring to accounts that show significant changes in deposit volume, extended session lengths, or rapid sequences of large bets following a losing streak. Where our systems flag a potential concern, we may temporarily apply precautionary limits while our team reviews the situation and reaches out to the member directly.
